Privacy Policy
Effective October 4, 2026
enRICHment Tax Services prepares personal income tax returns. Doing that work means handling some of the most sensitive information you have, and we take that responsibility seriously. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and how we protect it.
As a paid tax preparer, we follow federal rules on taxpayer privacy, including Section 7216 of the Internal Revenue Code, which limits how preparers may use and disclose tax return information, and the Federal Trade Commission’s Privacy and Safeguards Rules under the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act.

When you visit this website
This website does not use advertising, tracking cookies, or analytics. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information, such as your IP address and browser type, to deliver the site and protect it from misuse. Our web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which also receives your IP address when the page loads.
How we use your information
We use your information only to:
- Respond to your questions and provide a cost estimate.
- Prepare, review, and electronically file your federal and state returns.
- Communicate with you about your return, notices you receive, and deadlines that apply to you.
- Send invoices and process payments.
- Meet our legal, professional, and recordkeeping obligations.
We do not use your tax return information for marketing or any other purpose without your separate written consent, as required by Section 7216.
How we share your information
We never sell your information. We share it only as needed to serve you or as the law requires:
- Tax agencies. We file your returns electronically with the IRS and the state tax agencies where you are required to file.
- Service providers. We use trusted providers for tax preparation software, our secure client portal, e-signatures, payments, and email. They may access your information only to provide these services to us and must protect it.
- Others you authorize. We will share information with a lender, another tax professional, or anyone else only when you give us written consent.
- Legal requirements. We may disclose information when required by law, such as in response to a valid court order or subpoena.
Because we do not share your information with outside companies for their own marketing, there is nothing you need to opt out of.
How we protect your information
We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect client information, as required by the FTC Safeguards Rule. These include:
- An encrypted client portal for exchanging documents, with multi-factor sign-in.
- Multi-factor authentication on our tax software and business accounts.
- Access limited to the people who need the information to do the work.
- Secure disposal of records we no longer need.
Please keep personal information out of email and text. Regular email is not a secure way to send Social Security numbers, tax forms, or bank details. Use your client portal instead. We will never ask you for passwords or full account numbers by email, text, or phone.
How long we keep your information
We keep copies of returns and supporting records for at least three years after filing, as the IRS requires of paid preparers, and longer when needed to answer questions or notices about a return. When records are no longer needed, we delete or destroy them securely.
Your choices
- You may ask for a copy of the returns we prepared for you.
- You may ask us to correct information that is wrong.
- You may ask us to delete information we are not required to keep.
To make a request, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity before acting on it.

This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them through it. We collect information about dependents only as needed to prepare a parent’s or guardian’s return.
If something goes wrong
If we learn that client information has been accessed without authorization, we will notify affected clients, the IRS, and other authorities as required by law.
